Cracking Times Tables
For now we will put CNF on ice and concentrate on times tables instead.
Please note that the practise sheets on the school website ARE NOT what we use in Year 2! However, these still give you something to work on if you are looking for extra work.
Year 2 children need to recall and use multiplication and division facts for the 2, 5 and 10 multiplication tables, including recognising odd and even numbers. (In other words - as an example - your child should be able to tell you that 15 is an odd number and that 15 ÷ 5 = 3
or 3 x 5 = 15)
Maths Shed provides lots of activities and what I like most is that you can choose different ones to practise.
Another very useful app is Squeebles Times Tables - a fun, interactive way for children to learn and practise their times tables.
