Key Stage 1 and 2 Stationery Requirements
It is important your child is kitted out with the correct stationery for their year group - this ensures they are fully prepared for a successful day, every day, in their class.
Year 1:
All stationery equipment is currently provided by the school

4 x HB pencils (Staedtler Noris – black and yellow are good quality pencils and they will last longer than other brands.)

1 x 30 cm rigid plastic ruler (Please do not buy a foldable one, they don’t last and are not good for accurate work.)

1 x Art overall or old shirt
1 x ziplock folder or popper wallet for bringing home things
1 x set of highlighter pens x 3 (pink, yellow and green)
Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 only
2 x handwriting pen - STAEDTLER 309-3 Handwriting Pen In Blue. This pen has been tried and tested against many others and has been decided upon as the best one for children to use in KS2.

No other equipment is needed and anything more than this will be returned to your child’s school bag to bring home. Please ensure your child only has the one pencil case to contain their stationery, as they need no more than this and there is inadequate storage in each classroom for more. A cluttered desk does not aid children in working efficiently.
Each child's pencil case will come home every Friday evening so items can be sharpened or replaced as required.
