Supporting Every Child To Thrive We are proud to have a full-time pastoral lead who works closely with children and families to support emotional wellbeing and social development. As a trained ELSA practitioner, the pastoral lead provides targeted support for pupils and coordinates external agencies, including the Mental Health Support Team and the School Nursing Team, while working in close partnership with the SENDCo to ensure a joined-up, personalised approach. Our Mulberry curriculum further develops key skills in wellbeing and personal growth, helping children to understand themselves and others. This is complemented by our peer mentor programme, where pupils support one another to build resilience. Our dedicated provision for Young Carers also ensures that every child feels supported, valued and is able to thrive. www.widmerend.bucks.sch.uk
