Widmer End School Prospectus 2026/27

Forest School is provided for one term each year for every year group, with sessions taking place on site as well as in local parklands and fields, for example when planting hedgerows. Our wider enrichment includes a link with Mariwa School in Kenya and ongoing support for the Streetkidz Direct charity in Guatemala, helping children to understand global responsibility and compassion. We celebrate a range of global events such as Black History Month and learn about inspirational figures from around the world through our weekly Values assemblies. Visitors regularly come into school to share insights into their professions or religious practices, and the police and fire service support our work around safety and awareness, helping to prepare children for life beyond school. active learning opportunity imagination
