Senior Leadership Team FINALISTS for Buckinghamshire Team of the Year Award!

The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) at Widmer End Combined School have transformed the school under the headteacher's vision and guidance. The SLT has led by example, listened and learned from the school community, and implemented rapid & effective improvements in the curriculum, behaviour, management and the physical environment. The SLT has also supported the staff's wellbeing, professional development and progression, creating a positive and open culture where everyone feels valued and empowered. The team's impact is evident on the strength of pupil outcomes, high aspirations and happy pupils, as well as the praise from Ofsted, governors, and staff. One comment on the staff survey sums it up; "I can honestly say I am amazed by the transformation in this school over the past 18 months. It is a different place, full of opportunities and happy children."
