Which School is right for my child?
We are so lucky in Widmer End to have many great schools in our local areas, including High Wycombe, Beaconsfield and Amersham. Please click on the links below to visit their websites to find out more. Please note, The Royal Grammar School, John Hampden, Wycombe High School, Beaconsfield High School, Dr Challoner's High School and Dr Challoner's Grammar School are grammar schools and children need to qualify for a place by sitting a transfer test. All children at Widmer End Community Combined School & Pre-School have the opportunity to sit the transfer test in September although parents can choose for their child to opt out if they wish. If you would like to discuss your options with your child's class teacher, please contact them using the school office email.
