Approach to RSE & PSHE

The Department for Education has introduced updated statutory guidance for Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE), which schools in England must follow from September 2026.

The updated guidance places a strong focus on helping children develop healthy, respectful relationships, understand how to stay safe, look after their physical and mental health, and recognise and challenge harmful behaviour and influences, including those they may encounter online.

We use the Kapow scheme of work for RSE and PSHE which has been fully updated to be compliant with the new guidance and details of coverage can be found in the Kapow Parent Zone.
