I first became a teacher 24 years ago now and every year has been different, it is the best job in the world and I love being part of the Widmer End team.

I have taught in nearly every year group over my teaching career, with 10 years in Year 5 and 6, 10 Years in Yr 2 and various other schools and now Year 2 at Widmer End. 

I love seeing children get excited by a new project or achieve a new skill, so being able to teach a range of skills and subjects to Year 2 is such a privilege. 

I have a little girl here at Widmer - she loves coming to school and is excited by all the wonderful things that happen here. I have another little girl who will be attending school in a few years - at the moment she just enjoys seeing her sister be part of this wonderful community. 

I love the theatre, any opportunity to see a good musical, play or watch a drama, I am there. I also enjoy spending time with my family, going for long walks and visiting all the places around our area and hopefully get back into travelling a bit more during the holidays.
