I’m Nabila Shaheen and joined Widmer End as a Pre-School key worker in 2017. Since then, I’ve been taking the wonderful opportunity to work in Reception and other classes throughout the school.

It’s such a privilege to be part of a warm and welcoming team. I’ve previously worked in different educational settings on a short-term basis and, in the meantime, I took a TA/LSA course & training in 2012. Joining Widmer has been the best thing for me so far.

I have a natural affinity with children and enjoy helping them and making a difference each and every day. I always try my best to provide quality care and support for their learning.

I’m a proud mother of a young gentleman who is currently a university student. In my own time, I love exploring nature, spending quality time with my son, watching geography documentaries & comedies. Cooking and learning new recipes is one of my favourite hobbies.

I was born and brought up in Pakistan, my first language is Urdu. After getting married, I moved to the UK in 2001. My parents and siblings reside in the USA (New York) and I love to visit them frequently.
